Globeteam has developed a hybrid management platform in close collaboration with Microsoft.

Press release May 23, 2024

This strategic move marks an important point in Globeteam’s continued efforts to help the company’s clients reduce costs through innovative technology, as well as enhance security and achieve solid operational stability for the client.

As a recognized Microsoft Direct Cloud Solution Provider, Globeteam has used the power of Microsoft’s tools. Using Microsoft Azure Lighthouse and the adaptive cloud approach enabled by Azure Arc, Globeteam has built a multicloud platform where everything that can be automated is built as Infrastructure as A Code. This gives us significant opportunities to manage and operate the underlying environments, whether they are located in Azure, AWS, GCP, or on-premises at the client’s own site.

The platform gives Globeteam a significant competitive advantage, as it enables the company to offer a range of new and innovative service offerings to its clients.

With this new platform, we are able to deliver our services in a more agile and scalable way, which reaffirms our position as a leader in multicloud orchestration. Together with the consultants at Globeteam, we deliver a unique Managed Services delivery in Denmark,” says Holger Brøns Jensen, Director Managed Services at Globeteam.

Globeteam’s decision in 2023 to offer clients the centralization of all management of their IT platforms has proven to be a significant improvement for IT operations at individual clients. In our approach, we turn traditional outsourcing upside down by first taking over IT operations and using our management platform to lay the plans for transforming IT solutions under our new operational platform.

This vision and the entire transformation have made it possible to manage and deploy workloads independently of their location by using Microsoft Azure as the primary management platform,” explains Holger Brøns Jensen.

Globeteam’s comprehensive modernization of the management platform, which includes Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, and Defender for Cloud, has been carried out in close collaboration with Microsoft, which has provided guidance and assistance along the way. The new cloud-based platform has resulted in easier scaling and maintenance, faster processing times, and increased security for each company using the solution.

In this way, we reduce a lot of IT concerns about both structure and security, especially for the many small and medium-sized companies that do not have a huge IT setup. In addition, there are very large savings to be made,” says Holger Brøns Jensen.

At Microsoft Denmark, Torben Juhl, who is a Senior Partner Technology Strategist for Azure, explains that Globeteam with the solution cements its position as one of Denmark’s leaders: “Globeteam has created this opportunity for service development and delivery in an agile and scalable setup, aligned to Microsoft Azure’s adaptive cloud approach. Globeteam has become one of the leaders in Denmark within multicloud orchestration and services.”
