Globeteam acquires Kons AS in Norway to strengthen its position in Scandinavia

Globeteam A/S, one of Denmark’s leading providers of IT consulting services, has acquired the Norwegian consulting company Kons AS. The acquisition is part of Globeteam’s strategy to expand its presence and strengthen its position in the Scandinavian market, which follows the acquisition of Norwegian Fifteen announced in January 2024.
Kons AS is an established player in the Norwegian market with a strong customer base and significant expertise in IT consulting services. The acquisition will give Globeteam in Norway access to new customers and competences, supporting the company’s ambitious growth targets in the region.
Claus Moldow, CEO of Globeteam, sees the acquisition as an opportunity to gain even more volume in the Norwegian market.
“This acquisition more than doubles our top line in Norway. We look forward to integrating Kons into the Globeteam family and driving our growth and development together. We will continue with Kons under its well-known name in the market. And we currently have no plans to change that,” says Claus Moldow.
The acquisition of Kons gives both Kons and Globeteam Norway new opportunities. Kons AS will now be able to bid on larger tenders due to Globeteam’s size and references, opening new growth opportunities for both parties.
“This acquisition gives our consultants in Norway access to new customers and more exciting opportunities. We also gain access to additional system support and processes and increase our overall capacity. This is a significant advantage for both our Danish and Norwegian units,” says Morten Strunge Nielsen, Project Director at Globeteam.
Sebastian Næss Langaas, manager of Kons AS, is also excited to join Globeteam together with his colleagues.
“It’s a huge advantage for Kons that we’re now part of a larger setup. It gives us some completely new opportunities. I’m incredibly excited about the journey we’re about to embark on,” says Sebastian Næss Langaas.
