Globeteam continues its growth with positive key figures
Globeteam continued to grow in 2020. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have not only managed to keep the business going, but even increased turnover by 14.5 percent to 323 million DKK versus 282 million DKK in 2019.
“2020 has been a satisfying year. We are happy about the positive development that Globeteam is experiencing, and we look forward to continuing to dive into lots of interesting jobs,” says Claus Moldow, CEO of Globeteam and he continues:
“The growth is a result of Globeteam starting 2020 with a good foundation consisting of a strong backlog and pipeline, and we managed to carry out complex projects with both existing and new clients. But Globeteam has also been particularly quick to adapt the business to the current needs in society.”
2020 was the year where companies’ digital transition accelerated, and we saw that the demand for strategy-related assignments and IT-related services really took off.
”2020 was an extraordinary year that set extraordinary demands in terms of our readiness to adapt. Globeteam’s consultants not only managed to adapt the way in which they interact and advise clients, they also played an important role in the transition and digitalisation of many Danish workplaces. This has also been recognised by the many clients who trusted Globeteam to advise upon and implement this important transition, and it was recognised by Microsoft, who awarded Globeteam the prize of Microsoft Partner of the Year in the Modern Workplace category,” says board member Andreas Faerk, Kirk Kapital.
At Globeteam, we expect to see continued growth in 2021. We have already had a good start and expect a two-digit growth in the new budget.
In order to further strengthen our business, we are optimising Globeteam’s recruitment efforts and expanding our range of services with a new business unit in the beginning of 2021, among other things. In addition, Globeteam will continue to invest in its own IP within different areas, and this will increasingly be used as the driving force for a number of the solutions we offer the market. An investment that we will continue in the future.
Not least based on the fact that the Norwegian investment fund Norvestor has become the new majority shareholder with the aim of expanding inside as well as outside of Denmark’s borders.
