Globeteam solidly out of 2023
Globeteam, has ended 2023 on a strong note. The company has just published its annual report for 2023, showing impressive growth and a strengthened market position.
With a revenue of DKK 392 million, growth of 14.3 per cent compared to 2022, and earnings after tax of DKK 36.5 million, Globeteam has cemented its position as a leading player in consulting and managed services.
Claus Moldow, CEO at Globeteam, is also pleased with the results.
“2023 was a year where we really felt that our strategic investments paid off. Our focus on security services and the integration of AI into our solutions has not only increased our market position, but also strengthened our relationships with both new and existing customers,” says Claus Moldow.
During the year, Globeteam secured several significant framework agreements, including a four-year agreement with the Danish National Police worth DKK 85 million and a three-year agreement with Danish Regions. These agreements underline the company’s deep commitment and expertise in the public sector, which is where 60 per cent of revenue was generated in 2023.
2023 also marked a significant breakthrough in security consulting and risk management, with over 62% growth in this area.
“Out of a total of 183 Globeteam consultants, we have a team of over 60 security experts, which has really elevated our position in security. We have helped several private and public organisations deal with and recover from hacker attacks, which is a testament to the strength of our strategic and tactical security consulting,” says Claus Moldow.
Looking ahead to 2024, Globeteam has ambitious plans for growth, especially in Jutland and Funen, where the company has already established itself with over 100 different customers.
“Our focus on infrastructure, AI, cloud services, risk management and IT security will intensify in the coming years. We expect to significantly expand our customer portfolio and grow our team of consultants,” says Claus Moldow.
Globeteam has also established GlobeAcademy, which offers competence development in the latest technologies and methods such as AI and Platform Engineering. The positive response to these courses and high levels of satisfaction among participants confirms the effectiveness of Globeteam’s approach to training and competence development.
The arrival of Andreas Strandbygaard as managing director at Globeteam in Denmark in early 2024, means Globeteam’s Danish management will be further strengthened. Strandbygaard’s experience at Accenture and Netcompany will help increase the focus on services that combine Globeteam’s strategic and technical strengths across the company’s areas of expertise.
