Press release November 14, 2024

Globeteam, one of Denmark’s leading IT consultancies, has entered into a partnership agreement with Apple Consultants Network. Globeteam can now advise and offer solutions at the highest level, integrating Mac computers more efficiently and securely into Microsoft-dominated environments.

This partnership builds on Globeteam’s special competences in delivering advanced, user-friendly and secure solutions that combine the best of both Apple and Microsoft technology ecosystems.

Globeteam’s new agreement comes in the wake of an increasing number of employees in Danish companies and the public sector demanding the option to work with a Mac computer. Free choice of technology has become a competitive parameter and a way for companies to attract and retain talent, placing new demands on IT departments.

Many IT departments would say they are not as good at handling Macs as PCs, given that the majority of companies have Microsoft-based infrastructure. “We are noticing a growing demand within our client base; they want to be able to offer their employees the option to use Macs for work. We see this as an opportunity to strengthen our consultancy work through this partnership with Apple,” says Andreas Strandbygaard, managing director at Globeteam. He continues:

“Although many still see Apple and Microsoft as opposites, at Globeteam we see a growing trend of the two tech giants supporting each other technologically. This is of real benefit to all parties.”

Having gained both Apple and Microsoft certifications, Globeteam’s consultancy ensures that its clients can get the best out of both platforms, increasing both productivity and user satisfaction.

With the introduction of Apple Silicon processors and increased integration between MacOS and Microsoft 365, Globeteam sees a bright future for Mac computers in business. “The transition to Apple Silicon has been a crucial shift that has increased demand across sectors,” adds Andreas Strandbygaard.

This is supported by Microsoft integration services like Intune and Entra ID, which ensure seamless and scalable integration of Apple devices into Microsoft environments while maximising the experience for Mac users.

Globeteam encourages businesses looking to explore the possibilities of Mac computers and operating systems in their Microsoft infrastructure to get in touch for further information and specialised advice.

“Our mission is to ensure that our clients’ IT infrastructures are both secure and optimised, giving their employees the freedom to choose the tools they prefer without compromising security or efficiency,” says Andreas Strandbygaard.
