The Danish consultancy firm Globeteam has acquired the Norwegian IT consultancy firm Fifteen A\/S. The Norwegian company with headquarters in Oslo will change its name to Globeteam with immediate effect.<\/p>

Globeteam CEO Claus Moldow says that the acquisition of Fifteen is the first step in a strategy that will see Globeteam become a player in the Norwegian market.<\/p>

“With this acquisition and name change, Globeteam now has a platform in the Norwegian market. We get a team of 15 senior consultants and a dedicated leader in Fred Arne Bakken. The team is made up of highly skilled consultants within infrastructure, cloud solutions, IT security and project management. It is a strong team that fits like a glove, both in terms of our business areas and our competences in Globeteam within Denmark,” says Claus Moldow.<\/p>

He points out that the Norwegian consultants have on average 22 years of experience.<\/p>

“The Norwegian company is built on many of the same principles that we know from Globeteam. Including the fact that our consultants are experienced people who only solve tasks at a senior level,” says Claus Moldow.<\/p>

The acquisition in Norway follows Globeteam’s appointment of Arne Norheim to drive Globeteam’s growth in Norway.<\/p>

“I’m very pleased that we have now taken the first step for Globeteam in Norway; this will be a major strategic growth area for the company in the coming years,” says Arne Norheim.<\/p>

Arne Norheim was previously CEO of Webstep ASA in Norway. In addition to this, he has held several international roles at IBM, including CEO of IBM Norway and head of IBM’s outsourcing business in Denmark. He was also chairman of the board of Globeteam for a period.<\/p>

Fred Arne Bakken and his colleagues are delighted to be part of Globeteam as well.<\/p>

“We are all excited about the change of ownership. We are eager to become part of a Nordic setup with all the advantages that will bring. At the same time, Globeteam’s growth journey and not least the company’s ability to bring in large and attractive customers is impressive,” says Fred Arne Bakken.<\/p>

Globeteam’s main shareholder is Norvestor, a leading Nordic private equity company focused on the mid-market segment.<\/p>

Norvestor has offices in Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen and Luxembourg. Norvestor seeks to invest in mid-sized growth companies in the Nordic market that have the potential to achieve a leading Nordic or international position, typically through organic growth, acquisitions across fragmented industries and geographical expansion.<\/p>

Besides Norvestor, Globeteam\u2019s other main owner is Kirk Kapital, a family-owned company headed up by the Kirk Johansen family. The Kirk Johansen family are descendants of Ole Kirk Christiansen, who established LEGO.<\/p>

In addition, Globeteam’s two founders, Claus Moldow and Morten Strunge Nielsen, each own around 10 percent of the company still.<\/p>
